Create Your Own CNShopper Spreadsheet

Open Google Sheets or Excel and create a new workbook. Name the first tab Active Orders. This is where live orders live. Create a second tab called Completed Orders for finished sales. A third tab named Dashboard will hold your summary charts. Keeping data separated prevents accidental edits to old records.

In row one of the Active Orders tab, add these headers: Order Date, Product Name, SKU, Supplier, Purchase Price, Shipping Cost, Total Cost, Target Sell Price, Estimated Profit, Profit Margin %, Status, and Notes. Use bold formatting and freeze the top row so headers stay visible as you scroll.

In the Estimated Profit column, enter a formula that subtracts Total Cost from Target Sell Price. In the Profit Margin % column, divide Estimated Profit by Total Cost and format the cell as a percentage. These two formulas are the heart of any cnshopper spreadsheet. They instantly show whether an item is worth buying.

Set rules that color-code your sheet. For example, highlight rows where Profit Margin % is above 40 percent in green, between 20 and 40 percent in yellow, and below 20 percent in red. This visual system lets you scan hundreds of rows in seconds and focus on high-margin opportunities.

On the Dashboard tab, use SUMIF and COUNTIF formulas to pull live totals from Active Orders. Display total orders this month, average profit margin, and best-performing category. Add a simple chart showing weekly profit trends. A well-designed dashboard turns raw data into actionable business intelligence.
